brian: what type of idea?

dario: say an idea for an invention that could change the world.

brian: the first thing i would do is to write the idea down.

dario: and what would you do then?

brian: go to a lawyer and find out how to make sure that no one could steal my great idea.

dario: good thinking. see you later brian.

brian: why? where are you going?

dario: i'm going to see my lawyer.

brian: tell me all about it when you get back!

    1) boom-box: a cd, radio and cassette player with speakers that you can take wherever you go

    my school had a 'no boom-box' policy and teachers would take them off you if you did bring one.

    2) deaf: not able to hear

    the concert that i went to last night was so loud that i had to wear earplugs so i would not become deaf.

    3) punks: people who listen to punk music, wear leather clothes and believe in anarchy

    the punk club that i went to was so tough that you had to cut yourself with a razor just to get in the door.

    4) sucks: a slang way for saying that something is not good (be careful how you use this one when you speak or write english)
    不好：说某事不好的俚语（口头或书面用此说法时你要注意怎么用）
    i wanted to see a movie last night with my girlfriend but she had already seen it and said that it really sucks!
    昨晚我想和女朋友去看场电影，可是她已经看过了，而且还说那片子很烂！

    jessie: i really feel like dancing, tina.

    tina: i love to dance. what type of music is your favorite for dancing to?

    jessie: disco! anything from the 1970s is just fine by me.

    tina: oh. i hate disco music. punks say that disco sucks.

    jessie: but the music that punks listen to is the worst type of music!
